When is the convention going to be held? Can I still access the content outside opening hours?

Otakuthon At Home will be held on August 20-22, 2021. A limited variety of non-live content will be available for 30 days after the event.
A schedule will be posted before the event.

Does the event have an age restriction?

Yes, you must be at least 16 years old on August 20, 2021 to participate.

Can I use a username for the convention?

Yes, when registering, you will be required to provide your full name as well as a display name. Your display name will be seen by other attendees.

How do I access the event on the day of the convention?

As of August 20, 2021, you will be able to clicking to access the online venue.

Do I need to download any application for the convention?

No, you do not need to download or install any software to participate.

Do I need any specific equipment (webcam, microphone) to participate?

No, all activities can be enjoyed through a web browser and chats. An internet connection is required. Do note, that the experience is optimised for desktop and tablets.

From which devices can I attend the event? Is there a recommended browser?

The event is accessible from desktop and tablet devices. We recommend the use of Chrome, Firefox or Safari for the best experience.

I can no longer attend the event. Can I get a refund?

No, all registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. For more information, please refer to the full details in the registration policy.

I made a mistake in my mailing address, how can I change it?

Please send us an e-mail to athome@otakuthon.com with the full name and your account number, as well as your updated mailing address before July 31, 2021 11:00 PM EDT.

I would like to be an artist or dealer at the event. How do I proceed?

When will I receive my Otakuthon badge and/or merchandise order?

Accounts paid in full by July 31, 2021 will receive a pre-registration bonus of an Otakuthon At Home badge mailed to Canada and the USA only.
Badges will be mailed in the beginning of August.
All other orders for badges and merchandise during the event on August 20-22, 2021 will be mailed in September.
If you have not received your order one month after mailing, please contact athome@otakuthon.com before October 31, 2021.

Otakuthon is put together by hundreds of volunteers donating their time, and who are driven by their otaku passion!
