Otakuthon Stars

Otakuthon Stars is a new virtual event with the goal of promoting local performing artists. You play an instrument? Dance? You would like to share your talent with other otakus? Send us your video and it will be broadcast during Otakuthon Stars with your artist tag!

How does it work? It’s very simple!

1. Registration are open from June 10 to August 1, 2021, or until 20 registrations are received.

   • Registration : Fill our online form!
   • If we reach capacity, a waiting list will be created.

2. You must send your final video to: stars@otakuthon.com by August 1, 2021, at the latest.

   • Maximum duration of 4 minutes
   • MP4 ou MOV
   • 1080p or higher
   • Landscape format

Your video will be broadcast during Otakuthon Stars, held during Otakuthon At Home 2021 (time to be determined)!

Rules :

1. Due to the virtual nature of the event, people under 16 years of age at the time of registration may not participate in the Otakuthon Stars this year, even with approval of their parents or legal guardians.
2. Provided that the government health regulations allow it at the time and place of recording the video, groups of maximum 4 participants will be accepted. The sanitary guidelines must still be strictly followed in the video (mask, physical distancing, etc.).
3. No flagrant nudity.
4. The video must be appropriate for the general public.
5. Participants who do not respect the video submission deadline may be excluded from the broadcast.
6. Otakuthon reserves the right to refuse any video that violates the Otakuthon Terms and Conditions or for any other reasonable justification.
