This document outlines the data retention policy for the Garage Sale that is organized by Otakuthon during their annual convention. The Garage Sale is a service that allows users to sell their unwanted items to other convention attendees.

When a user registers for the Garage Sale, we collect the following information:

• Nickname or badge name
• Email address
• Mobile phone number

A list of items they want to sell, including their description and price.

How long do we store the data?

We store the user's data until it is requested that we delete the user’s personal data.

How do we use the data?

We use the list of items (and their sales state) to analyze the performance and popularity of the Garage Sale and improve our service quality and user experience.

We use their personal data to identify returning customers to serve them better.
