Although Otakuthon is a free event, pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Attendants who pre-register will avoid long line-ups (no need to fill out the forms to register during the day of the convention), be given a free program booklet, and be given the option of ordering an Otakuthon T-shirt that can be picked-up during the convention.

In addition, theater tickets for the masquerade and J-Pop concert can only be purchased through pre-registration. Theater tickets are limited so sign-up for one now before they are sold out!
