Contests

Several fun-filled contests will be organized for those who want to prove their "otakuness" and win some cool prizes. Some of the contests that will be featured at Otakuthon include:

• Anime Name that Tune: Contestants must guess the name of the anime tune being played in 15 seconds or less to gain a point. First one to score the highest points wins.



• Anime Win, Lose, or Draw: Groups of three contestants, randomly drawn, compete by guessing correctly what's being drawn on the board by one of their teammates. First group with the most points wins.



• Cosplay Costume Race: A three man team composing of a model and two designers must make a costume in 20 minutes or less with the materials provided. The best three costumes wins.



• Anime Mystery Dating Game: Four participants are randomly drawn. One participant is the "date" and the other three are "suitors". The date posses questions to the potential suitors and, based on their answers, the date ranks the suitors form first to third place.



• Otaku Feud: Two teams of five face off each other to guess the anime survey results in this version of Family Feud.



• J-Parody: Three contestants aim for the top, giving questions to anime-related answers in this takeoff of Jeopardy!



• Crazy Game Show Challenge: Test your game show skills and luck in this interactive follow-up to the "Crazy Game Shows of Japan" panel.
